Bayern Munich are making big effort to sign Harry Kane with Thomas Tuchel meeting the Tottenham star in London, according to Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk.
Manchester United made Kane one of their top targets following the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign but they soon realised it would prove incredibly difficult to strike a deal with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
The England international has just one year remaining on his deal at Tottenham and Levy faces the threat of losing his star player for nothing next summer.
Bayern Munich hope that Levy will be more receptive to interest from abroad, although their £60m opening offer was swiftly rejected.
In an astonishing update from Sport Bild journalist Falk, Kane – who has won zero trophies in his career – has told Tuchel that winning the Champions League at Bayern “would appeal to him”.
Falk wrote on Twitter: “Our Story: Thomas Tuchel has met Harry Kane at his home in London to talk about a transfer to FC Bayern. Kane told Tuchel it would appeal to him to win with Bayern the Champions League @SPORTBILD.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that talks with Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou “will be important to understand” Kane’s future at the club.
