Tottenham's transfer business over the past couple of seasons very much highlights that they are building for a bright future in N17. Active in the transfer market already this month with Radu Dragusin joining from Genoa and Timo Werner moving on a loan deal from RB Leipzig, Spurs could be about to spring into action once again.
football.london understands that Tottenham have held talks with Club Brugge about a potential transfer and loan back for highly-rated attacker Antonio Nusa. The 18-year-old has made a big impact for club and country over the past couple of seasons and looks destined to make his name for one of Europe's top clubs.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, as well as other sides across Europe, have shown an interest in signing Nusa from Club Brugge but it now appears that Tottenham are attempting to move to the front of the queue for his signature. A transfer agreement for the Langhus-born player would mirror the deals for Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
Viewed as stars of the future, Fabio Paratici clinched the signings of both and they remained with their former clubs on loan before eventually linking up with the Tottenham squad. Both transfers have proved to be huge successes as Sarr and Udogie have been instrumental figures in the team's outstanding start to the season under new head coach Ange Postecoglou.
Nusa, who can play all across the attacking line, does look to be the perfect player for the Australian given his attacking attributes and the suggested deal for around £30million plus a loan back for the rest of the season could prove to be quite the investment considering how highly he is rated in the game. So what exactly would Tottenham be getting in Nusa? football.
