Simon Jordan has warned West Ham fans that they don’t know how good they’ve got it with David Moyes.
Moyes, who won the Europa Conference League with the Hammers last season, is in the midst of a dire run of form. They're winless in seven were thumped 6-0 at home to Arsenal last time out.
That result has seen a number of supporters turn on the Scot, despite his success in bringing them their first major European trophy last season.
Summing up frustrations at the London Stadium, talkSPORT caller Steph said: “Things have got to change. We have a defensive manager yet we’ve just shipped six goals, three to United and five to Fulham, as well as getting knocked out of the FA Cup to Bristol City.
“The main problem is our defensive pairing of [Nayef] Aguerd and [Kurt] Zouma, especially Zouma who’s not fit for purpose and thank God he was hooked otherwise it could have been nine [9-0].
“If you’re shipping goals your defence is a problem, and that’s down to Moyes who picks the team, he can’t always blame the players.”
Prompting a response from former Crystal Palace owner turned talkSPORT host Jordan, she continued: “Simon, in business, if you have something like Marks & Spencer or John Lewis, do they stand up at a shareholders meeting and say, ‘sorry our results are so poor this financial year but three years ago we made a profit’?
“No. It doesn't happen in business and shouldn’t happen in football but you can’t keep trading on the past.”
Jordan replied: “You can give context though to David Moyes and look back and say we beat Arsenal and Man United 2-0, he can give you context about Europe and the league position, what you’re doing is looking at the last month, and the outcomes you’ve got whether or not you like the way you play, is
