Simon Jordan says Tottenham are hugely disappointed after Harry Kane's move to Bayern Munich.
Kane joined the Bundesliga champions for a fee of around £84.5m plus add-ons.
The 30-year-old left the Premier League as Spurs' all-time top scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances.
He recently made his bow in Tottenham's 3-0 German Super Cup defeat to RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Following his move, Jordan believes his departure is a move blow to Ange Postecoglou's side.
«I think there was a great feeling of disappointment that Harry decided to leave,» Jordan told talkSPORT.
«There were lots of moving parts to it and people around him were very influential in the decision.
»I think it is a surprise he has gone to Bayern Munich.
«I just think there was a feeling that there was better options available to him, Economically at Tottenham, than he would be getting at Bayern Munich.
»And the reality that perhaps he probably would have been in a better position in a year's time. Putting all that to one side, I think the main thrust of it is that Tottenham need to turn a page.
«They have got themselves in a situation where one way or another, nobody lasts forever. Some people would argue that keeping Harry Kane for as long as they did would be an achievement.
»Others would say they should have bloody well won something and Daniel Levy is useless, and is culpable for everything which is bad inside the football club.
«The outcome of Harry Kane is inevitability of the failure of Tottenham Hotspur to achieve things.
»There is substance around that argument, but I think coming at the door for Postecoglou, you can't have the only story in town being Harry Kane.
