Romelu Lukaku's future remains unclear, but Simon Jordan says he has 'now got himself to look at' whilst his career remains on hold.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino hasn't held any significant conversations with the striker since his arrival at Stamford Bridge and Lukaku's return from his loan with Inter Milan.
talkSPORT told you earlier this week that the Belgian striker has attracted interest from Juventus and other clubs around the continent.
The Blues are expected to urge Lukaku to accept an offer from Saudi Arabia, too. However, no deal has materialised yet, and the striker remains in limbo.
«The situation hasn’t changed,» Pochettino said when asked for an update on the Belgian striker's future. «Always I tell you, all can happen.
»At the moment, the situation didn't change. It's a situation that was really clear before we arrived here. We are really relaxed.
“If his and club's wish is to find a solution, the player and club will inform me to change. I will not move until the player or the club come to talk with me. It was [all decided] before I arrived."
Lukaku hasn't played for Chelsea since the 1-1 draw with Leicester in the Blues' penultimate game at the end of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
He then went out on loan to Inter Milan — the club he controversially said he wanted to stay at before his move to Stamford Bridge — scoring 14 goals in 37 appearances, including playing in the Champions League final.
But Inter's interest in signing him on a long-term deal vanished when they discovered he'd been speaking to rivals Juventus chiefs, with Juve's fans protesting against him signing for them, too.
As a result, it remains to be seen where Lukaku will end up, despite the season already being underway. But
