Full Chelsea squad revealed for Nottingham Forest as Mauricio Pochettino faces 20-man decision

Chelsea host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, with the Blues hoping to make it back-to-back victories.

Having not won their first two matches, Chelsea got the ball rolling with a victory against Luton last time out, with a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge. They will now face Forest, who were beaten 3-2 at Old Trafford having raced into a 2-0 lead in the first five minutes.

Forest and Chelsea shared two draws last season, but the Blues will be optimistic of a victory on Saturday. Raheem Sterling has impressed so far this season, with Nicholas Jackson also looking sharp up front after close to £400 million spent this summer and now the hope will be that a more settled squad can pursue a successful season.

Cole Palmer was added to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad on deadline day, boosting the Blues’ attacking ranks. The Man City academy graduate’ signing was confirmed on Friday and is expected to be available for the match on Saturday afternoon, which kicks off at 3pm.

Speaking on Friday at his pre-match press conference, Pochettino said of the new arrival: ‘I think the sporting director and the owner of course, but the sporting director it was his idea to add him to the squad,” He added: “I think he’s fit for the project. Talented player, of course.

He continued: “Also he decided to come because he expects to play maybe more and be important here but I think that is not the most important. He decided to come because Chelsea is a project for him and to improve his game and to be more involved in every single game.

“I think the quality is there, it’s great potential and of course now he needs to settle here and
