William Saliba’s latest brand collaboration has led Arsenal fans to fall even more in love with him.
The France international has been a key part of Mikel Arteta’s side since earning a permanent spot in the starting XI last season.
But now, it’s not just his skills on the pitch that Gooners are admiring… well, that’s the case for most of them, anyway.
The 22-year-old surprised the Arsenal faithful with an announcement on Instagram on Friday, confirming his partnership with a shoe brand.
But whilst most footballers collab with high-brow brands such as Gucci, Saliba has opted for a slightly more unique choice of footwear…
Anyone who grew up in the 2000s will surely remember Crocs and will have noticed they’ve enjoyed a renaissance recently, with many people rocking a pair since the pandemic.
Now, Saliba has done a shoot in them, with the Frenchman posing for the camera with the quirky shoe.
It’s gone down well with fans for the most part, too.
“Notice we start wearing Crocs now Saliba is…” one supporter said.
A second fan said: “Only this bre can make Crocs look stylish.”
“Saliba makes Crocs look cool,” a third said, while a fourth added: “So cold.”
It didn’t go down well with everyone, though.
“I love Wilo, but Crocs AND socks? Not for me…” another said.
If you see more people rocking Crocs in north London, now you know why!
They are like walking on clouds, to be fair.
