St George beat Hambericho 3-1 to go second on the log, and Fasil defeated Ethiopian Insurance 2-0 to go fifth.

Fasil played first against Insurance and a dramatic first half of end-to-end action ended goalless.

St George also kicked off their win over Hambericho with a penalty, albeit a first half one converted by Dawit Tefera in the 29th minute.
Tefera completed his brace on 42 minutes to give the Horsemen a 2-0 win at the break.
There were two more goals in the second half, and it was St George first withe their third goal scored by Binyam Belay in the 75th minute.
Hambericho did get a consolation in the 90+3 minutes to get the final score to 3-1 in favour of St George.
