SuperSport United tackle Polokwane City still in search of their first win in the DStv Premiership this year at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
Remarkably, United haven’t been won in the league since resuming in mid-February and have also dropped from the top-three to sixth spot on the table.
Rise and Shine haven’t had it any pretty too and are way down in 11th on the table -with just one win recorded from their last three matches and lost 3-2 to Royal AM recently.
Confidence in the camp of Matsatsantsa won’t be high heading to the match after the 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Stellenbosch FC on Saturday in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.
Rise and Shine, who are just two points from the top eight, recent win was at the end of March and it came on their own turf to Chippa United.
When Matsatsantsa and Rise and Shine met in the first round, the two couldn’t be separated but played to a 1-1 stalemate, but City hammered United 4-1 in the Carling Knockout match last year.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
