Stefan Bajcetic appears confident as he undergoes the final stages of his recovery from a series of injury setbacks this season in Liverpool.
The breakout star of the previous campaign, Bajcetic has been limited to only 72 minutes of football this year. First it was an adductor injury in March 2023 that forced him to the sidelines, setbacks followed relating to his growth then after making his long-awaited return, in September a calf injury forced him back onto the treatment table and out of first-team action.
Whilst the Reds' midfield has coped well in his absence with new a quartet of summer 2023 signings settling in quickly, supporters are eager to see the Spaniard fight for his place in Jurgen Klopp's squad ahead of his replacement's arrival.

Before the international break the club had a number of fitness concerns, though mostly ones that are expected to clear up within the month of April - prime time for the Premier League and Europa League end-of-season run-in.
Bajcetic is one such player, with it believed he has been building up his fitness this week and will continue to do so over the following weeks before rejoining his team-mates in full first-team training. As this has been a quiet week at the AXA Training Centre, the defensive midfielder has had some leisure time, though has shown supporters he has time for both work and play.
