Al-Ettifaq have confirmed the appointment of Jonathan Robinson as the club's new performance analyst only hours after he announced his departure from Liverpool.
Steven Gerrard was appointed Al-Ettifaq manager in July, and took with him a backroom staff that included ex-Reds youth striker Ian Foster, under-18s fitness coach Jordan Milsom and under-18s assistant manager Tom Culshaw. Sadio Mane had been suggested as a potential signing, though eventually opted to join Al Nassr instead, and in the end a reunion came in the form of Georgino Wijnaldum signing from Paris Saint-Germain.

During his nine years he took up positions as a youth development coach, first team analyst, under-16s head coach and under-21s assistant manager, working alongside Barry Lewtas. His new employers made the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 7:00pm on November 13th.
