Takehiro Tomiyasu fitness, Gabriel Jesus alternative, Arsenal set pieces and Burnley necessity
Arsenal continued their fantastic run of form with a 6-0 win over West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday. The Gunners were without several key players including Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Emile Smith Rowe but still produced their most emphatic away win in Premier League history.
The floodgates were opened by yet another set piece as William Saliba rose highest to nod home Declan Rice's corner, before Bukayo Saka put the demons of last season to bed with a penalty and Gabriel headed in from a free kick. Leandro Trossard curled home Arsenal's 8000th league goal on the stroke of half-time.
There was time in the second half for Saka to add another before Declan Rice rounded off the scoring with a howitzer at his old ground. Unfortunately for Arsenal, they weren't able to gain any points on title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool, meaning that this weekend's trip to Burnley remains crucial. The return of Takehiro Tomiyasu may bolster the Gunners' chances of winning, but they're like to be without a few key stars.
