Twitch streamer, strongman, and now a gym owner Knut Spildrejorde, or simply "Knut" had a close call in his Iron Forge Gym yesterday (April 18). The streamer was live streaming his workout routine in the Smith machine. As he was squatting with a loaded barbell, he suddenly struggled to maintain his balance under the heavy pressure bearing down on him.
Fortunately, the streamer's wife, Jeanette Lund, was present as a spotter. Knut promptly directed her to place the shaft of the barbell onto the safety catch of the Smith machine. The streamer breathed a sigh of relief, before later explaining:
