Three clubs will be watching Everton’s situation closely following the latest Premier League charge.
The Toffees were informed on Monday that they had been charged for a second time for a breach of the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability rules. Sean Dyche’s men were deducted 10 points by an independent commission following the first charge last year.
That first charge was relating to the three-year period to the end of the 2021/22 season. Leicester, Leeds, and Southampton were relegated at the end of the season, while Forest have been charged alongside Everton this time around.

The three relegated clubs could therefore argue that the breaches had an impact on Everton
