Premier League football is back. After the final international break of the season, we can now focus on club football once again for the remainder of the campaign.

For Chelsea, it is a very busy final couple of months of the 2023/24 season. Eleven Premier League matches remain for the Blues, as well as an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City next month.

The FA Cup will go some way in determining the outlook on the season as a whole for Mauricio Pochettino, whose job position will be reviewed in the summer. But there is still plenty for Chelsea to play for in the Premier League as well, with the Blues still having an outside shot of qualifying for European football next term.

The remaining games of the campaign can very much be classed as the 'business end' of the season. And first up for Chelsea is the visit of struggling Burnley to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, in a game the Blues will go into as massive favourites with the bookmakers.

The Clarets, though, are expected to arrive in SW6 with a low-block, a type of system Chelsea have notoriously struggled against in the past, especially at home. Pochettino will have been preparing his players to come up against this type of defensive line over the last few days, and as he gets his remaining players back from international duty.
