Mauricio Pochettino has plenty of decisions to make when his Chelsea players return to their Cobham training base later in the week.
The Blues have suffered two defeats in their opening four games of the Premier League season – with a loss to Nottingham Forest just before the international break. Before that was a win against Luton Town, a defeat to West Ham United and a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season.
A trip down to the south coast to take on AFC Bournemouth awaits Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. Pochettino will be desperate to see his side get back to winning ways against a team they managed to beat both times in the Premier League in the 2022/23 season; something that was a huge rarity.
Chelsea will be praying all of their players away on international duty return to Cobham unscathed in the next few days so they have as big of a squad to choose from as possible at the weekend. We could see the likes of Benoît Badiashile, Armando Broja and Reece James return to the squad for the trip to the Vitality Stadium – but if not, the next couple of games will be when we see the injured trio once again.
After a 1-0 defeat to Forest last time out in the Premier League, we could see some changes to Pochettino's lineup at the weekend, particularly in attack. The Blues recorded 21 shots at Stamford Bridge, but only two of them were on target.
It was a story that had been read a million times before by Chelsea supporters. So, with that said, football.london takes a look at three different ways Pochettino could set his attack up at the weekend down at the Vitality Stadium.
