Mikel Arteta has been dealt a fresh injury concern following the Premier League win over Wolves. The Gunners headed into the clash at Molineux off the back of two consecutive defeats with one ending their Champions League journey and the other significantly denting their title hopes.

After starting against Bayern Munich in the week, Tomiyasu was left out of the squad to face Wolves. Upon announcing the starting XI, Arsenal wrote: «Takehiro Tomiyasu has been left out as a precaution after picking up a knock on Wednesday.»

What Arteta has said: «He [Tomiyasu] had a knock in the game and he had a bit of swelling and he wasn’t fit to play this game.»
Potential return date: Chelsea (H) — Tuesday, April 23
