Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou admitted that his side could have been "blown away" by Manchester City in the first half of Sunday's thrilling 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium.
After taking an early lead through Heung-Min Son, Spurs were pegged back just three minutes, with Son netting an own-goal. From that moment onwards, City turned the screw and took the lead just past the half-hour mark through Phil Foden.
The game exploded into life with just over 20 minutes to go after Giovani Lo Celso brought Spurs level, making it 2-2. Jack Grealish then thought he had won it for Pep Guardiola's side with just under 10 minutes remaining, converting Erling Haaland's low cross, before Spurs drew level in the last minute of regulation time through Dejan Kulusevski.

From an entertainment aspect, it was a fabulous contest, dripping in both goals and drama. For City, however, it was a damaging result, extending their winless run in the Premier League to three matches.
However, it would have been different had they had taken their first-half chances, the best of which was squandered by Haaland. Julian Alvarez also hit the post.
"It was an entertaining game," Postecoglou told Sky Sports. "We were lucky to be in it at half-time, to be fair. City could have blown us away during that period, similar to us last week against Aston Villa.
"We hung in there [in the] second half a lot better, a lot more control, a lot more belief in the team, and we get our reward for that which is great for the lads."
