Ange Postecoglou will be channeling his inner Macauley Culkin this Christmas by spending it 'Home Alone'.
The Tottenham boss will be on cloud nine following their 2-1 victory over Everton on Saturday, a result that means they're in the top four on Christmas Day.
But while Postecoglou will be looking forward to celebrating the day the Australian boss admits that, in the words of 70s rock band Mud, he'll be 'Lonely This Christmas'.
Asked by talkSPORT’s Alex Crook if the Postecoglou house will be happy at Christmas after their victory, the Tottenham boss said: “Yeah mate.
“My family left for Australia and they’ve left me behind so I’m doing the whole Home Alone at the moment!
“But I’m pleased for the supporters and pleased for everyone.
“Christmas is a lot more joyous when you’ve got three points.”
Responding to his Christmas reference, the Tottenham fans were loving what their boss had to say with plenty of supporters offering him a place to go for dinner.
One fan said: «How many Spurs fans would offer him a dinner?»
Another said: «I know a few million Spurs fans who would happily welcome Ange round to their gaff for Christmas Dinner.»
«Come spend it with me and my family Ange,» said a third supporter, while another simply added: «Come round mine mate.»
Postecoglou and Tottenham are next in action on December 28 when they'll be looking to knock the stuffing out of Brighton (Christmas pun intended!) exclusively live on talkSPORT 2.
