Going on Tottenham's incredibly impressive start to the 2023/24 Premier League season, supporters want the games to come thick and fast with the team flourishing on the pitch under Ange Postecoglou. That unfortunately isn't the case this campaign, however, with Spurs not in European action and also no longer involved in the Carabao Cup following their second round exit at Fulham.
In terms of the Premier League, the Lilywhites are flying and currently sit second in the table — one point behind league leaders Man City — after winning five and drawing two of their first seven fixtures. In action first this weekend as they take on Luton Town in Saturday's early kick-off, three points at Kenilworth Road will see the north London club move to the summit of the table for 24 hours at least before the reigning champions take on Arsenal in a mouth-watering clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Saturday's game in Bedfordshire will be Tottenham's final one before domestic football goes on pause for the second international break of the season. It's the last thing Spurs fans want at present, especially with everyone counting down the minutes until the next fixture with Postecoglou's team excelling at present and chalking up the wins.
It will certainly be a long 16 days for fans as they wait for Tottenham's next game against Fulham. The showdown against the Cottagers is the first of four Spurs games on the calendar before international football resumes once again midway through November.
Prior to then, Postecoglou and his exciting Tottenham team have the opportunity to send out a real statement of intent to clubs such as Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool as they look to keep themselves in a very good position at the top of the Premier League ahead
