UEFA and Adidas on Monday unveiled the official match ball for the knockout stages and final of the 2023-2024 Champions League, which resumes this week and will be played at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday 1 June.
The 'UCL Pro Ball London' features the innovative PRISMA surface texture, which provides players with greater precision, along with an outer coating that offers secure grip and total control. It also features a seamless, thermally-bonded construction that ensures maximum performance, UEFA said in its statement.
The ball has an eye-catching design featuring the host city, London, with vibrant graphics showing two lions roaring and fighting between stars. The Champions League returns on Tuesday with the Round of 16 clashes between RB Leipzig and Real Madrid and Copenhagen and Manchester City, both of which will feature the ball for the first time.
Wembley Stadium will be the venue for the third time on Saturday 1 June, following the 2011 and 2013 finals.Read on besoccer.com
