Conor Bradley's landmark appearance for Northern Ireland saw him receive a message from Liverpool teammate Virgil van Dijk.
Bradley starred for Northern Ireland in the 1-0 win over Scotland on Tuesday night. The victory at Hampden Park came thanks to a strike from Bradley in the second half, which was his first senior goal for his country.
The 20-year-old was making just his 15th appearance for Northern Ireland in the game against Scotland. Bradley played 83 minutes in the game and will now return to Merseyside with the hope of playing a key role in Liverpool's squad during the run-in.
After the game, Bradley posted a message on social media which summed up his emotions after his milestone. "First international goal," wrote Bradley on Instagram, as he also included a photo of himself with the Player of the Match award.

The post resulted in numerous comments from across the world of football, including his teammates at Liverpool. Van Dijk was one of the players to send a message to Bradley, where his comment simply featured a clapping emoji and raising hands emoji.
Van Dijk was not alone in sending a message to Bradley, with Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher following suit. The Liverpool goalkeeper wrote: "Love it," followed by a clapping emoji and fire emoji.
Harvey Elliott also sent a message to Bradley, which read: "Nice brother." Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton, who is currently on loan at Hull City, also wrote: "Love that mate".
Bradley's next match could see him start at right-back for Liverpool against Brighton on Sunday in the Premier League.
