Weather forecast for Southport Air Show 2023 and Reminisce

Weather conditions will be mixed for two huge events, Southport Air Show and Reminisce, coming to Merseyside this weekend.

The Air Show is taking place from Saturday, September 9 to Sunday, September 10 on Southport's seafront while Reminisce will take in Sherdley Park on Saturday. While it looks like Saturday will hold up for festival goers and those looking to watch the famous Red Arrows, Sunday at the air show will look quite different according to the Met Office.

In St Helens on Saturday there's due to be early low cloud burning back to leave a warm and mostly dry day. There's a less than 5% chance of rain throughout the day and night with a maximum temperature of 25C.

In the evening temperatures will only drop to around 19C. Festival goers at Reminisce will be able to see more than 150 of the best International DJ’s and artists across seven arenas.

There will be live performances, DJs and MCs. This weekend will see a massive line up of old school dance and nineties pop, including DJ sets from Dave Pearce, Jeremy Healey, John Pleased Wimmin, John Kelly, Rob Tissera, Lisa Pin Up, Slipmatt, Tall Paul and Lee Butler.

For Saturday in Southport temperatures will be slightly lower, with a high of 22C and a low of 18C. On Sunday in Southport the Met Office is expecting thundery showers from around 4pm.

The rest of the day will be overcast with highs of 25C and lows of 18C. Over the two days, the air show's exciting schedule includes BBMF Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane, RAF Typhoon, Slingsby T-67 Firefly and Spitfire - Rolls Royce.
