Axel Disasi expressed his joy at winning his first London derby in a 'strange' game with a 'crazy' atmosphere. Chelsea came away 4-1 victors over Tottenham in a match that saw in excess of 20 minutes of stoppage time, predominantly due to VAR, with a number of goals ruled out.

The drama ensued it was a lively atmosphere, with some lively flare ups between the players too. Disasi agreed with Mauricio Pochettino, that the victory was important given the Blues form this season.

The French defender said: «It was a crazy game tonight, in the first half, and we are happy to win this game because we need to get some points. We are happy.

“Like I said, the first half was a little bit strange and every time the VAR was there and, for me, it was my first London derby and the atmosphere was crazy. It was top.

“We know that we want to win and it was a good moment because we have not won so many games but they are happy, we are happy also and now we have to take a rest to prepare for the big game on Sunday.»
