The Carabao Cup will reach its climax early next year for English football's first major final of the season.
The competition gives sides from all four tiers the chance to claim the first available silverware of the 2023/24 campaign.
Manchester United are the current holders of the trophy after beating Newcastle 2-0 in February.
The Red Devils will now renew hostilities with the Magpies in the fourth round, with both clubs having ambitions of reaching Wembley again.
Liverpool will also hope to reclaim the prize they won in 2021, but Man City are already out despite winning it four times in a row under Pep Guardiola from 2017 to 2021.
With this year's edition coming towards the business end, teams will now be eyeing up a place at Wembley early in 2023.
The 2022/23 Carabao Cup final will be played on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
It will be held at Wembley Stadium with the kick-off time yet to be confirmed, although last season's final began at 4:30pm.
