Jurgen Klopp's side know that maintaining their 100% record in this season's competition with victory at Stadium TFC in France will see them qualify for February's round of 32. However, if Lask Linz were to beat Union St Gilloise in the other Group E encounter, then the Reds would be secured of top spot heading into the final two rounds of fixtures.
Speaking at a press conference in France on Wednesday, Klopp revealed that his side would be without captain Virgil van Dijk, who will miss the trip to France due to a bout of illness. Meanwhile, Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch have suffered minor injuries and have also remained on Merseyside.
