Argentina's national team is going through its best moment in many years. The Albiceleste leads the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, where they will try to defend the trophy won at Qatar 2022.

And they are also the current continental champion, and the next target for Lionel Scaloni's team will be to reclaim that title with victory at the Copa America 2024.

With a new special edition, which will bring together 10 CONMEBOL teams plus the six best from CONCACAF, the Copa America 2024 will be held in the United States and the tournament schedule is already known. 

Here, The Sporting News brings you all the details for when and where you can see Argentina, and their iconic talisman Lionel Messi, in action this summer.

As defending champion, Argentina and Messi will play in the opening game of the tournament on Thursday, June 20 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. 

The second game for Lionel Scaloni's team will come five days later, on Tuesday, March 25, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. 

Finally, the third match, which will mean the closing of the group stage, will be played on Saturday, June 29 in Miami, at the Hard Rock Stadium.

If Argentina finishes first in the group stage, their quarterfinal match will be at the NRG Stadium in Houston on Thursday, July 4, while if they finish second their match would take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Friday, July 5.

In the case of advancing to the semifinals, regardless of group placement, the match will be on Tuesday, July 9 at Metlife in East Rutherford.
