Micah Hamilton scored just 19 minutes into his senior Manchester City debut at Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League on Wednesday and could follow it up with a Club World Cup appearance in Saudi Arabia.
The winger has been around the first-team squad this season, making Pep Guardiola's bench twice at Newcastle in the Carabao Cup and at Young Boys in the Champions League. He was handed his City debut at Red Star last week, scoring a fine goal early on and later winning a penalty.
Pep Guardiola praised him in Serbia, but he was not included in the squad that would face Crystal Palace a few days later. Now, he is back around the first team and on the bench in the Club World Cup semi-final vs Urawa Red Diamonds.

Hamilton is City's Elite Development Squad captain, making 11 appearances so far this season, contributing six assists. Mainly a left-winger, he has also operated in central or attacking midfield this season, as well as on the right. In 62 appearances for the academy, he has 16 goals and 16 assists, averaging a goal contribution every other game.
After a series of lengthy injuries in recent seasons, Hamilton has watched other players kick on in his absence, with a number of high-profile exits from the academy in the last two summers leaving a young squad of which Hamilton is the oldest. As a result, he has been used by Guardiola to bolster his first-team bench on those two occasions this season.
