Arsenal are yet to make a signing in the January transfer window, but that could change as we head into the final days. The Gunners spent big in the summer and much like many other clubs, looking over their shoulders at FFP and PSR rulings, are cutting their cloth accordingly.
Manager Mikel Arteta would like to strengthen in a number of departments — namely the forward line and the defensive group — but both may have to wait until the summer. However, an opportunity has arisen to solve one of the issues in the last few days of the January transfer window.
Arsenal were linked with a move for full-back Sacha Boey in the summer, but could not get a deal over the line. Now, the right-back is once again being linked with the Gunners. So could they tie up a deal this time around?

Sacha Boey is a 23-year-old French right-back who currently plays for Turkish club Galatasaray. At just 14, Boey joined the youth academy of Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais before making his senior debut on May 5, 2019 in a 2-2 draw with Toulouse. Midway through his two years at Rennes, Boey spent a season on loan at Dijon FCO before returning back to his parent club.
After making minimal appearances at Rennes, Boey signed for Galatasaray in the summer of 2021 where he has since made 81 appearances. In the 2022/23 campaign, the defender of Cameroonian descent featured in 30 games scoring one goal and grabbing three assists. He has two goals to his name in 31 appearances so far this season.
Strong performances in Turkey have seen him linked with a move to the Premier League with Manchester United and Newcastle joining Arsenal in showing interest. Bundesliga giants Bayern
