Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies has reportedly come to a verbal agreement that will see the Canada star move to Real Madrid.
According to The Athletic, Los Blancos are keen on bringing in the left-back and are aiming to complete a transfer either during the upcoming summer window or in 2025.
Davies' contract with Bayern is set to run until 2025 and it's been suggested that discussions between the defender and Madrid have already taken place, with the Spanish giants urging him to refrain from signing an extension with the Bundesliga champions.
Davies has spent six years in Germany after leaving Vancouver Whitecaps as a teenager, winning every trophy going for Bayern in that time, including five Bundesliga titles and the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League. Now, though, it could be the right moment for the 23-year-old to take the next step in his career.

The suggestion is he will either move in 2024, in which case the Spanish giants would need to negotiate a transfer fee with Bayern, or wait until he becomes a free agent in 2025.
