Former Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson could make his debut for new club Crystal Palace when the two sides meet in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
The 'keeper, who spent spells out on loan with fellow Premier League sides Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest during his time with United, joined Palace in a £20million move during the summer transfer window. Despite joining the Eagles in the hope of earning himself more first-team opportunities, Henderson has been unable to usurp fellow former Reds goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to become first choice and is yet to make his maiden appearance for his new club.
That could change in Tuesday night's Carabao Cup encounter, with Palace boss Roy Hodgson admitting he is considering giving Henderson his debut - although he could make a late decision on who will start the game.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Monday, Hodgson said: "We will have to wait and see on that one, but we are more than happy with him both in training and as a person. As I said earlier on, we think that it is a very good signing the club has made.
"I shall make a decision on Tuesday night which one of the goalkeepers will play – we have got three goalkeepers, but I suppose the main ones are Sam [Johnstone] and Dean."
Following his arrival in south London, Hodgson had made it clear he expects a healthy competition between Johnstone and Henderson.
"Most importantly of all, he brings a situation where we have two outstandingly good goalkeepers," Hodgson said in his pre-Wolves press conference at the beginning of September.
