Scousers are known for their fashion sense, so it's hardly surprising Zara is a fan-favourite for many.
The fashion retailer first launched in 1975 in the Spanish city of A Coruña but it was called Zorba at that time, having taken the name from the 1960s film, Zorba the Greek, starring Anthony Quinn. It has grown since that time to an international brand, including a store in Liverpool ONE.

Shoppers know, when they visit Zara, that whatever they walk out with, be that clothing, accessories or fragrance, that they’ll be asked where it’s from. There’s no greater compliment than that.”
Zara first came to Liverpool ONE in 2008, after parent company Inditex moved its previous offering from Church Street. The 20,000 sq ft store began trading on two levels, just as we know it today, the difference being the shop now offers Zara home and beauty products.
