AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has rejected criticism of Rafael Leao.
Pioli is adamant Leao doesn't deserve the pressure he finds himself under.
He said at today's media conference: "This story has been going on for too long and in my opinion it isn't like that. Rafa is always involved in our offensive actions, he is finding many solutions, he offers many assists. I love Rafa, also in his way of being; he is an artist and the artists they are geniuses and he is a genius.
"Rafa is a very important point of reference for us. It's true that he isn't scoring many goals in the league, but he's doing very well, he always takes away two opponents, I see improvements. That's how we expect more and more, maybe we expect too much...
"It's not like he can leap past two opponents every time and go on to score a goal."
