Alan Shearer has praised Liverpool defender Conor Bradley following his 'fantastic' performances having being given an opportunity by Jurgen Klopp in the first team.
Bradley, 20, came on for Harvey Elliott in the final 15-minutes during the 2-0 win against Arsenal in the FA Cup, before being rewarded with a start against Fulham in the Carabao Cup three days later. The young defender played the full 90-minutes during the 2-1 comeback victory for Klopp's side with the Liverpool boss praising the full-back after the game.
"Exceptional, what a boy, what a fantastic character and the potential,” Klopp said. “He is in the right team, everyone loves him and respects him and wants him to succeed."

It wasn't just Klopp who was impressed by Bradley with former Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers striker Shearer also singled him out following the win. Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, Shearer said: “Big mention for the young boy. He came on at Arsenal at the weekend, Conor Bradley.
“Then he got his start against Fulham, he was brilliant, he was fantastic both offensively and defensively. For someone so young to come in, I just thought he looked absolutely superb.”
Bradley is now set for an extended opportunity in the Liverpool first-team given the growing injury problems in the squad with Andy Robertson, Kostantinos Tsimikas and Trent Alexander-Arnold all currently sidelined.
