Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham face a second London derby clash in the space of five days as they look to get their Champions League quest back on track. Defeated 3-2 by Arsenal last Sunday, Spurs will now travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea.
Their visits to SW6 have not been kind in the past and they will be hoping their wretched record changes for the better on Thursday as they look to up the pressure on Aston Villa in fourth. In order to hopefully get back to winning ways, Postecoglou will likely tinker with his team and make a few changes here and there.
So who exactly could come in for the Chelsea showdown? football.london takes a look below at the options.
One of Postecoglou's alterations for last Sunday's North London Derby against Arsenal saw Yves Bissouma dropped from the Tottenham XI for the first time under the head coach. The Mali international had been named on the bench for February's game against former club Brighton & Hove Albion but that selection decision was more to do with the player just coming back from AFCON.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg replaced Bissouma in the Tottenham team in the home defeat to Arsenal and unfortunately netted an own goal that put the visitors on their way to claiming victory. With the two trading places midway through the second half, Tottenham's No.8 performed well in his time on the pitch to give Postecoglou something to really think about prior to the Chelsea fixture.
As he was certainly one of Spurs' better players in the closing stages as they looked to register a late point, Bissouma could quite easily come back into the team at Stamford Bridge. He needs to maintain the same levels if that is the case, though, as his poor form ahead of the derby match
