Arnaut Danjuma believes Beto is determined to move Everton forward and has called on his team-mates to relish the pressure of delivering for supporters.
Everton first targeted Beto in January, but a bid was rejected and they would not pay his release clause of about £30million. However, the Blues finally landed their man earlier this week.
The 25-year-old Portuguese striker, who has signed a four-year contract, officially moved to Goodison Park from Udinese Calcio on Tuesday after arriving on Merseyside last weekend to undergo a medical.
And then, to cap off a memorable couple of days for the forward, he came off the bench against Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night to score his first goal for the Blues as they came from behind to claim a 2-1 win.

"I think we are all very happy that he is here," Danjuma told the ECHO when asked about the forward. "Big, strong, quick, and I think we needed a target man as well.
"His English can improve a bit, but I will speak to him. We are all delighted that he is here. I think the rumours were that it was a bit difficult to get the players in, but I was the first one that came after Ashley Young.
"So just for me, as the first one in the attacking line, I knew what was coming, and I committed myself to the process.
"For Beto to come and commit himself to the process as well is only beautiful. I have been speaking to him, and he is very determined and motivated, just like me. Hopefully I can make as many goals as possible for him."
