Aaron Ramsdale makes his return to the starting XI for Arsenal's Carabao Cup third round clash at the Gtech Community Stadium. The England keeper has been out of the side for the last three games since being replaced by David Raya.
Ramsdale has, however, been restored for this match and will be looking to stake a claim to regain his number one spot. Elsewhere Mikel Arteta has rung the changes.
These include a first start for Emile Smith Rowe in 499 days in central midfield. Arteta has challenged the 23-year-old to use this game as a chance to show that he deserves to be getting more regular minutes.
Youngster Charles Sagoe Jr. is given a first senior start meanwhile. The 19-year-old Hale Ender comes in on the right wing in a front three made in Hale End that also includes Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is also back in the back four at right back with Ben White moving into the middle. Gabriel continues at centre back alongside him, with Jakub Kiwior coming into the side at left back.
