Bernardo Silva says he may try to lure Joao Neves to Manchester City despite Bruno Fernandes saying he would love the Portugal star at Manchester United.
The 19-year-old has caught the eye while plying his trade at Benfica and could be set on a move within the next two transfer windows. Silva says he would hand City any help he could if they ever declared an interest in the teenager.
Meanwhile, City are due to assess a number of players ahead of Saturday's lunchtime bout with Liverpool. Erling Haaland, Rodri, Ederson, Matheus Nunes, Nathan Ake and Mateo Kovacic all picked up problems during the international break.

Silva has hinted he could try and hijack any prospective United move for Joao Neves by convincing him to join City instead.
Neves has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough 15 months in his home country with Benfica, playing 38 times for the Portuguese giants since his August 2022 debut. The 19-year-old has seamlessly filled in for last summer's £105million Chelsea-bound defensive midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
Such form has understandably attracted interest from Europe's top clubs and United have been linked with a move for the teenager.
