Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Bradley Barcola (20) arrived in Paris overnight. The France youth international is now set to undergo a medical ahead of his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcola has been coveted by PSG throughout the summer, and the deal taking from Olympique Lyonnais to the Parc des Princes now looks set to be completed. This is despite Chelsea’s push to sign the Lyon youth product. John Textor had been willing to sell to compatriot Todd Boehly. However, Barcola has always been clear in his intention to join Les Parisiens, and his representatives informed the club’s hierarchy of this desire earlier this month.
The deal is worth €45m with €5m in bonuses, whilst Romano has also reported that the deal will include a sell-on clause. The move should be quickly concluded. The player himself already has an agreement with PSG and medical tests are set to take place today.
