Celtic 'keen' on Caoimhin Kelleher despite major Liverpool hurdle as Jeremie Frimpong payday skyrockets
Caoimhin Kelleher is reportedly set to leave Liverpool this summer - with Celtic said to be remaining "very keen" on a deal for the goalkeeper.
But with the English Premier League giants set to demand big money for the goalkeeper a hefty payday from Jeremie Frimpong's sale by Bayer Leverkusen may be required to cover any potential deal. Brendan Rodgers is on the look out for a new No. 1 with Joe Hart set to hang up his gloves at the end of the campaign - and the Irish international Kelleher has been consistently linked with a move to the Scottish Premiership leaders.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a run in Jurgen Klopp's starting line-up amid injury woes for first-choice Alisson, but the Daily Mail report that Liverpool "will not stand in his way" should Kelleher look to move on in the summer. Nottingham Forest are said to be "just one of many clubs interested in securing his services" alongside the Hoops.

BILD report that Manchester United have held concrete talks with the former Celtic full-back about a potential move. His release clause is £34m - with a significant chunk of that set to arrive in the Parkhead coffers should a deal be green lit.
