Nicolas Jackson picked up his ninth yellow card without being on the pitch — and the Chelsea star's disciplinary record beggars belief.
His latest booking came in the Blues' 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday night.
That is despite the Senegal international having already left the pitch 15 minutes earlier after being substituted.
The 22-year-old could be seen sprinting down the touchline after Enzo Fernandez's last-gasp goal as he joined his teammates in the celebrations.
He was then shown a yellow card for leaving the technical area, which was noted by the match officials.
Jackson is now just one yellow card away from a two-game suspension, which will mean he will have racked up 10 for the season.
However, his record is made even more bizarre by the fact only one of his yellow cards has been given for a foul.
That was against Tottenham back in November last year, as Chelsea managed a 4-1 victory, with Jackson netting a hat-trick on Mauricio Pochettino's return against his former employers.
The rest of his bookable offences have been for dissent towards the referee, arguing, or entering the pitch as a substitute.
It has left Chelsea fans completely baffled by his disciplinary record.
