Double deal 'close'
After offloading twelve players from the books, Mauricio Pochettino launched the next stage of his Chelsea rebuild – possibly one which the Blues know all too well – reinvigorating the infamous loan system. David Datro Fofana got the ball rolling by joining Union Berlin before Angelo Gabriel followed by signing for sister club Strasbourg.
Charlie Webster and Teddy Sharman-Lowe have also joined Heerenveen and Bromley, respectively, before they return to Cobham next year to force themselves into the Chelsea boss' plans. With the loan system well underway again at Stamford Bridge, there are two more deals in the pipeline.
According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are closing in on a season-long loan deal for Lewis Hall. The report states that the transfer is on the 'verge of being agreed' and the 18-year-old could even be available to face Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.
The second deal which is said to be close is, of course, another loan and that of Cesare Casadei. According to Sky Italy, as quoted by Football Italia, Genoa and Leicester City have asked Chelsea to take the 20-year-old midfielder on loan this season.
Neymar prediction
