Chelsea player ratings vs Brentford as Jackson and Gusto shine, Disasi redeems himself
A late header from Axel Disasi has rescued a point for Chelsea away at Brentford.
Nicolas Jackson gave the Blues the lead on 35 minutes with a fantastic header, moments after missing a sitter. However, it was yet another really slow start to a half for Chelsea, who conceded moments after the second period started.
Mads Roerslev fired home after some really suspect defending from the visitors. It was soon 2-1 with a bicycle kick from Yoane Wissa, and that looked as if it was going to be the winning goal.
Disasi, though, popped up with a crucial far post header to earn the Blues a point on the road. Bobby Vincent was at the Gtech Community Stadium and he has rated each Chelsea player out of 10.
Djordje Petrovic – Got the nod ahead of Robert Sanchez. Nervy moment early on when he caught the ball right on the edge of the box, leaving Brentford fans furious. Not too much he could do for the goal, to be honest. 6.
Trevoh Chalobah – Back-to-back starts for the first time since May of last year. Looked solid. I think playing in a three-back formation seems to suit his abilities. 6.
Axel Disasi – So poor for the Brentford goal. He is so slow to react and didn't realise Roerslev was behind him. It ends up costing Chelsea a goal. But he redeems himself somewhat with a crucial header at the end. 6.

Levi Colwill – Not his best game defensively. A couple of times he got caught out but what he gives you in possession more than makes up for that. I like him on the left side of a three. 6.
