Raheem Sterling missed both a penalty and then a one-on-one before redeeming himself somewhat. A great run in behind was spotted before he found a short stabbed cross to Cole Palmer who tapped into gives the home side control before the break.
However, Leicester City would find a way to level the game within just twenty minutes of the restart, kicking off with a freak own goal from Axel Disasi who put an effective shot past his own keeper with his left foot. That was before Stephy Mavididi curled a brilliant effort around Sanchez and into the side netting.
Callum Doyle was then sent off after taking out Nicolas Jackon to give the home side incentive. This allowed the man advantage to pay dividends with Carney Chukwuemeka scoring in added time to win the game.
