Chelsea have provided an injury update on a number of first-team players ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley.
Both teams go into the first domestic final of the 2023/24 season with a depleted squad due to injuries. Mauricio Pochettino has been forced to work with a limited group throughout his first year at Chelsea but has welcomed back a number of key players in recent weeks.
Ben Chilwell and Christopher Nkunku have made full recoveries and are set to play a part at Wembley this weekend. However, with fears over some, Chelsea have today released an update on a number of players.
The good news comes in the form of Marc Cucurella and Thiago Silva's returns. Both players are 'to join partial team training for reconditioning phase', though it's unclear whether they'll be in the squad against Liverpool.

The pair's return will be a boost for Pochettino, especially with Benoit Badiashile, Reece James and Wesley Fofana all out. The club's injury update said that the trio, alongside Carney Chukwuemeka, Romeo Lavia and Lesley Ugochukwu, are 'continuing to undergo' their rehabilitation programmes.
Speaking in his press conference, Pochettino provided his own update on the current injury situation at Cobham. The Chelsea boss said: "I think we need to assess to see whether they can be involved on Sunday."
"Yes, I will communicate tomorrow if we recovered players from training. Yes, he [Thiago Silva] has the chance. Tomorrow, we will see."
