Chelsea have made it to the Champions League semi-finals for the fifth time in their history after they secured a 4-1 aggregate victory over Ajax at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues started the match already 3-0 up from their first-leg following their win in Amsterdam. Any tension was eased when Mayra Ramirez scored her first Champions League goal, putting Chelsea ahead after 33 minutes.
Despite a shaky start, Chelsea managed to avoid conceding in the first half but Chasity Grant equalised for Ajax in one of the few opportunities after the break, resulting in a 1-1 draw on the night.
Chelsea now wait to see who they will face in the semi-finals. It will be either Barcelona or Norwegian side Brann, who play their quarter-final second leg this evening.
Chelsea manager Emma Hayes made seven changes from the team that beat West Ham in the Women's Super League on Sunday. Meanwhile, 16-year-old Ajax midfielder Lily Yohannes was suspended after receiving her third yellow card of the competition in the first leg.
Ajax captain Sherida Spitse came close to scoring in the first half, but her header hit the roof of Zecira Musovic's net from a short corner. Erin Cuthbert, who captained the home team, nearly scored but her shot just missed the post.

Ajax also had some chances that they didn't take. Romee Leuchter's shot went wide and then there was a scary moment when Musovic's clearance hit Tiny Hoekstra and almost went into the goal.
Chelsea finally scored in the 33rd minute. Guro Reiten passed to Ramirez who scored with a low shot past Ajax's goalkeeper Regina van Eijk.
