The season got underway for a number of Chelsea players over the weekend, with the Blues' loan players playing their first official minutes of 2023/24 as the Championship and other divisions got underway
However, some Chelsea stars are already back in action with the domestic season back underway in divisions below England's top flight, and of course, the west London side's loan army having already started to form.

Ted Sharman-Lowe
The Chelsea goalkeeper joined Bromley on loan this summer, under the management of former Arsenal and Newcastle goalkeeper coach Andy Woodman. It was not the start he would have hoped for with his side losing 2-0 away to Halifax.
Dion Rankine
A league debut for the wingback who started Exeter City's trip to Wycombe. The 20-year-old played 72 minutes in his side's 3-0 win.
Omari Hutchinson
The Chelsea youngster made his Championship debut at the weekend when he came off the bench for Ipswich Town in their 2-1 win over Sunderland.
Charlie Webster
Chelsea's midfielder is still going through pre-season with Heerenveen with the Eredivisie set to kick-off in the coming week. Nevertheless, Webster is settling into a new country and enjoyed an outing in front of a home crowd over the weekend as his side lost to Metz.
The youngster told Football Oranje that he believes the Eredivisie is a great place to develop as he retains some lofty ambitions.
He said: "In terms of a place to grow and develop as a player, I don't think there's a better place for me right now. Always wanted to play abroad and the Eredivisie, and Heerenveen especially is defintely a club I want to play for.
