Cape Town City will be aiming to win their fifth consecutive league tie for the first time in their history this week, as Eric Tinkler and his troops prepare to take on Royal AM at the DHL Stadium on Friday.

Following a run of five winless matches since 18 August, which included four consecutive losses in the league, City have finally managed to turn the corner.
Now though, the Citizens go into their next match on the back of four consecutive victories in the DStv Premiership.
After wins against Cape Town Spurs, Kaizer Chiefs, Richards Bay and Chippa United, City have the opportunity to win their fifth consecutive match in the league for the first time in their history.
As a result of their resurgent form, City currently occupy fourht spot on the table and accumulated 19 points from 11 games played so far.
In City’s recent 2-1 win over Chippa United, Khanyisa Mayo became the club’s all-time leading goal scorer with 22 goals to his name.
