USA can consider the 2024 Copa America as something of a dress rehearsal for the World Cup on home soil in 2026.
Gregg Berhalter's side will have the chance next summer to host some of the world's finest international teams and prove they can compete with the best in the game, as the likes of Argentina and Brazil travel to the States for the CONMEBOL tournament.
On Thursday, December 7, the USMNT will discover their opponents in the opening phase of the Copa America, when the group-stage draw takes place at 7:30 p.m. ET at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida.
Miami is where the final of the Copa America will take place on July 14 next year after a month-long competition in which USA will hope to pose a serious challenge to some of the international scene's grandest sides.
