Cristiano Ronaldo has hit yet another milestone in his career, firmly overtaking some of the Premier League’s greatest in the process.
The Al Nassr captain beat Al Khaleej over the weekend, a side flirting with relegation at the bottom of the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo helped his side to stay five points behind league leaders Al Hilal, netting in the first half before ex-Manchester City man Aymeric Laporte doubled the host’s lead to seal a 2-0 win.
But the ex-Manchester United star’s goal resulted in more than just putting his side in front.
Since turning 30, Ronaldo has now scored a whopping 400 goals for both Portugal and the clubs he’s played for in that time – Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Al Nassr.
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he’s also firmly overtaken former Man United teammate Wayne Rooney and Chelsea legends Didier Drogba and Andriy Shevchenko’s respective goal records from across their whole career.
Rooney scored a career total of 313 goals in 764 appearances across his time with Manchester United, Everton, DC United and Derby County.
He also scored 53 goals for England, taking his total tally to 366.
Chelsea legend Drogba scored 351 goals for club and country, netting 164 times for the Blues and scoring 65 for the Ivory Coast.
Meanwhile, fellow former Chelsea star Andriy Shevchenko found the net 326 times whilst with Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan and Chelsea, scoring 48 times for Ukraine.
Ronaldo’s goal against Al Khaleej also marks his 15th in just 16 appearances this term for his club this season.
That takes his tally for the Saudi Pro club up to 29 goals in 35 games. He’s also provided 11 assists in that time.
